President General Pervez Musharraf has sent a message of greetings to UAE President and Abu Dhabi Ruler Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al-Nahayan on the 38th anniversary of his accession to the throne of Abu Dhabi being celebrated on August 6.
Musharraf, in his message, said: "On this auspicious occasion of the 38th anniversary of your accession as ruler of Abu Dhabi, it gives me great pleasure to express our profound greetings and warmest felicitations to you and to the brotherly people of the United Arab Emirates.
"Under your able and visionary leadership, the United Arab Emirates has achieved unprecedented and phenomenal progress in all facets of national building, and I am fully confident that your highness' sagacity and far-sightedness will continue to inspire your great country in its march towards new vistas of progress in the coming years.
"I also avail this opportunity to express my firm belief that the special fraternal relations existing between our two countries will further strengthen in all realms in the coming years to the mutual benefit of two countries.
"I also avail myself of this opportunity to express my best wishes and prayers for your Highness' personal health and happiness and long life and for the lasting progress and prosperity of the brotherly people of the United Arab Emirates.
"Please accept the assurances of highest consideration."
Prime Minister Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has sent message of felicitation and greetings to UAE President and Abu Dhabi Ruler Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al-Nayahn on the 38th anniversary of his accession to the throne of Abu Dhabi being celebrated on August 6.
The prime minister, in his message, said: "On behalf of the government and the people of Pakistan, and on my own behalf, I have great pleasure in conveying to your highness and to the government and people of the United Arab Emirates, our warmest felicitations on the 38th anniversary of your Highness accession as the ruler of Abu Dhabi.
