Three army jawans were drowned when their boat capsized in River Ravi here on Saturday. Six were rescued.
Reports say that the army men along with a farmer were on their way in a boat for tree plantation, but their boat turned over in River Ravi causing the death of three army jawans and the farmer.
Those who killed included Havaldar Muhammad Latif, Banaris Khan, sepoy Abdur Rehman and a famous farmer Shafi Muhammad Chaudhry.
