It gives me immense pleasure to congratulate to Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry for carrying its tradition of awarding export trophies to the best exporters of the country.
At the same time, the publication of 'Export Trophy Souvenir' is also a significant contribution towards promotion of exports of Pakistan.
The rapidly changing geographical scenario has made almost the entire globe, especially the developing countries, confront new challenges.
Pakistan is no exception. While the Government is trying its best to ensure conducive investment for steady and rapid growth of trade and business with special emphasis on exports promotion, the hindrances on internal and external fronts need to be overcome through sincere and devoted efforts by the entire nation.
The business sector in particular should be aggressive, well-prepared and far-sighted in facing the challenges of WTO and the emerging geographical realities.
The non-government sector is a major player in the economic progress of a nation. It is commendable that FPCCI, being the apex representative of the private sector is playing vital role in the development of Pakistan.
The efforts of President FPCCI and his team for furthering the cause of economic uplift of the country are appreciable.
I also take this opportunity to congratulate the Export Trophy Award Winners on their excellent performance and hope that they would continue to reach new horizons in their quest to catapult Pakistan as an economic force in the comity of nations.
