I am glad to know that the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry is holding its 27th FPCCI Export Trophy Awards Ceremony and bringing out Export Trophy Souvenir. I consider it a big stride towards promotion of export in Pakistan.
Really the Federation is playing a leading role in promoting exports of Pakistan. It is the responsibility of the Government and Private Sector to explore new markets for the exports of Pakistani products so that the desired goal to double our exports could be achieved.
In fact keeping in view the international scene, we would have to jointly keep pressing for batter market access, and at the same time, draw up pragmatic strategies enabling our industry to prepare and adapt to the rapidly changing global trading environment.
The new World Order throws up both opportunities and challenges and it is for us to capitalise them. We are blessed with dynamic community of exporters and manufacturers and that the FPCCI Export Trophy Award Winners could rightly claim of being its heroes. They deserve congratulations from the entire nation.
I also congratulate the organisers especially Mr Riaz Ahmed Tata, President FPCCI on this great achievement with the hope that each member of the Federation would spare no efforts to maintain this honour in future too.
