Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) would provide about two million telephone connections across the country under Wireless Local Loop (WLL) system during the next year.
This was stated by Chief Executive PTCL, Junaid A Khan while talking to CEO television.
He said that priority would be given to rural and dense areas where establishment of infrastructure such as laying of wires was a difficult task.
Replying to a question he said that its call charges would vary between PTCL's fixed and cellular telephone rates.
WLL's service would be quick and qualitative as compared to installed phones, the chief executive added.
