Senate chairman Muhammadmian Soomro and Defence Minister Rao Sikandar Iqbal met Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi separately here on Tuesday.
According to an official, during the meetings political, parliamentary and national matters came under discussion.
The Chief Minister threw light on the legislative process and development activities currently underway in the province. He said the Punjab Assembly has played an active role in formulation of new laws. Process of reforms in all social sectors of the province was continuing expeditiously, he added.
