Equities continued to show healthy signs on the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where bulls commanded the proceedings under the lead of trend-setters amid the increase in index.
The ISE network index showed an increase of 30.99 points as the rate-based indicator moved from 11,891.85 to 11,922.84 points, while the overall turnover amounted to 3,029,700 shares as compared to previous volume of 2,133,900 shares.
Total 127 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (74) closed in positive territory, 51 showed negative signs, while two companies remained pegged to their overnight levels.
The turnover of OGDCL was 2,101,500 shares as compared to previous volume of 1,280,500 shares. The volume of Fauji Fertiliser was 737,500 shares as compared to previous volume of 608,500 shares. The turnover of PSO was 99,100 shares.
