We the genuine travellers to foreign countries have to suffer a lot of inconvenience and pay huge sum of money for visas through the system of the drop box industry initiated by ambitious courier service agents who have strong links with the respective embassies, as a gift of the 9/11 propaganda. Could it not have be made easier and less expensive?
In spite of a so-called drop box facility, people have to go to the courier office and line up in long queues to deposit their application, which takes hours on the road and streets exposed to the sun and heat.
Then again they have to undergo the same ordeal when they have to receive back their passport bad whether a visa is affixed or not.
That being so, the intending travellers would like to know what is this expensive drop box facility for? With the ordeal of lining up outside the offices of the courier agency instead of Consulate.
The simple procedure should have been used of the drop box facility by sitting at home.
