Uninterrupted power supply assured

The Lahore Electricity Supply Company (Lesco) has taken various steps to ensure uninterrupted power supply to the electricity consumers.
The Lesco spokesman told Business Recorder here on Wednesday that electricity consumers had to face inconvenience in the recent months on account of power interruption, adding this situation was deteriorated due to lack of maintenance work, significant increase in hot weather conditions and unprecedented raise in power demand.
"We have completed our maintenance work in most of areas to ensure uninterrupted power supply", he said.
He said after recent rains, power load on the system has declined significantly, adding to improve its distribution network, Lesco has decided to complete development projects during next five years.
