As many as 50 representatives of Pakistan Flour Mills Association (Jamhoori Group) Wednesday unanimously nominated Khaliq Arshad of Supreme Flour Mills and Salahuddin of Shama Flour Mills as its candidates for the office of Chairman and Vice Chairman, respectively, for annual elections of Punjab Chapter of the Association.
According to a spokesman of the Association, about 50 owners/representatives of Lahore division flour mills, including Haji Mohammad Bashir, Haji Mohammad Abdullah, Mian Shujauddin, Mian Abdur Rahman, Mian Ahmed and Mian Farooq attended the meeting and reposed trust in the candidature of Khaliq Arshad and Salahuddin.
Speaking on the occasion, the nominated candidates urged the Association members to fully participate in the elections. They assured that after being elected they would do their utmost for the well being of the Association members.
