The business fraternity of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) has expressed great pleasure over the landslide victory of the prime minister-designate Shaukat Aziz in the by-elections in both Attock and Tharparker constituencies, and termed it the reiteration of fullest confidence of the people in the present popularly-elected PML regime and the dynamic leadership of President General Pervez Musharraf.
Extending felicitation to Shaukat Aziz, former Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) vice-president and eminent Kashmiri business community leader Chaudhry Mohammad Saeed has described his (Shaukat) victory in the polls the success of the democratic forces which were seeking a strong and prosperous Pakistan in true perspective under the leadership of President Musharraf and the prime minister-designate Shaukat Aziz.
Talking to APP on Thursday Chaudhry Saeed said the exceptional triumph of Shaukat Aziz in the by-polls will prove to be a milestone in the history of the speedy economic progress and prosperity of the country, and hoped that under the dynamic leadership of President Musharraf and prime minister-designate Shaukat Aziz, Pakistan will soon emerge as the developed nation in the ranks among fully developed countries.
He said the people of Pakistan have once again reposed fullest confidence in the leadership of President Musharraf, and the PML regime by electing Shaukat aziz with a thumping majority in the by-elections.
Chaudhry Saeed observed that Pakistan will steadfastly pass through all the stages of speedy progress in all spheres of life in the coming days as a result of the comprehensive and broad-based policies of the present government.
He also hoped that Pakistan will embrace with the complete success by easily meeting the challenges of the 21st century for the extraordinary progress and prosperity of the country under the highly capable leadership of President Musharraf and Shaukat Aziz.
