Leaders of Pakistan Muslim League (N), Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal (MMA) and other opposition parties have strongly condemned the bombing by allied forces of Najaf, causing damage to the mausoleums of Hazrat Ali and other spiritual leaders.
Addressing a "Down with America Conference", organised by Anjuman Shehriyan-e-Multan at a local hotel, the participants of the conference condemned atrocities committed by the Yankees and their allies against the smaller countries.
They called the USA the biggest terrorist of the world, and bitterly criticised the government policies.
They further said that success of Shaukat Aziz in by-elections was an insult to the parliament.
