Four-week quality training programme for principals and senior staff of schools running under the control of Punjab Workers Welfare Board (PWWB) has been completed at Management and Professional Development Department (MPDD).
While addressing the certificates awarding ceremony here on Saturday, Punjab Labour Secretary Major Shah Nawaz Badar (Retd) said that quality training of senior staff would result in enhancing the performance and efficiency of teachers to the optimum level.
He said that the remaining staff of PWWB schools would also be imparted quality training at the MPDD. "Teachers should have first hand information and complete awareness about modern teaching methods prevailing all over the world, so that they could transform knowledge to the younger generation in a befitting manner," he added.
Later he distributed certificates amongst participants. First three position-holders were also given cash awards.
