The Federal Minister for Food, Agriculture and Livestock Sardar Yar Muhammad Rind will preside over the 23rd meeting of the Pakistan Agricultural Research Council (PARC) Board of Governors here on Monday (August 23) at 11.00 am.
The BOG would review the on-going research projects/schemes that were underway in different agro- ecological zones of the country and approve the annual research work plan and budget of the Council.
The Chairman PARC Dr Badaruddin Soomro would brief the BOG about the Council's overall performance whereas the incharges of technical Divisions would make presentation of their respective disciplines.
The meeting would be attended by the members of parliament, heads of provincial institutions, vice chancellors of universities, high officials of the Ministry of Agriculture, progressive farmers and senior scientists of the PARC/NARC.
