"The Commercial Section of the US Embassy, Islamabad, has assured of facilitating the visit of Pak-US Business Council delegation to America," said Pak-US Business Council Chairman Iftikhar Ali Malik.
According to the press release issued here on Monday, Malik called on US Consul Ms Jill Chearn Sykes and US Embassy NIV chief Ms Alice Seddon at Islamabad. He was accompanied by FPCCI Vice-President and Council Vice-Chairman Haroon Rashid.
Malik said so far three Council delegations had visited Pakistan under the leadership of Dr Herbert J. Davis, vice-president, US Chamber of Commerce and Ms Esperanza Gomez, executive director, Pak-US Business Council to identify and intensify business collaboration and activities between the two friendly countries.
The delegation from Pakistan will help reciprocate the goodwill and enhance understanding with its American counterparts, he added.
Arrangements are being made to hold joint meetings of Pak-US Business Council. Although, US is one of the biggest trade partners of Pakistan, the Council will concentrate on enhancing co-operation between the industrial sectors for transfer of technology and buy-back arrangements, he added.
