Various political and social organisations have strongly criticised the resolution passed by Sindh Assembly on August 17, according to which Computerised National ID cards would be issued to illegal immigrants in Sindh.
PPP, Sindh National Front, Sindh Tarraqi Pasand Party, Larkana Shahri Ittehad and others remarked in their separate statements that those MPAs who participated in passing of that resolution were dissidents of Sindhi Nation and Sindh.
They raised objection that since every where in world even in Balochistan, Balochis were not ready to give political rights to even peoples of other provinces then how Sindh government was offering citizenship to huge number of illegal immigrants?
They warned that if Nadra issued a single computerised ID card to any illegal immigrant in Sindh the life security of that person could not be guaranteed and the responsibility of the circumstances would be upon the rulers.
