Lahore court dismisses bail petition

Lahore High Court (LHC) on Tuesday dismissed bail before arrest application filed by a former Wapda Engineer Farrukh Sial Khan as not maintainable.
The petitioner contended before the court that he was acquitted in a reference submitted by National Accountability Bureau, but the respondent officials want to arrest him in another reference.
He prayed for allowing bail before arrest. The law officer contended before the court that the bail is demanded mere on the basis of apprehensions as the applicant failed to show any solid reason of his arrest.
He therefore requested the court to dismiss the application for being not maintainable.
The court inclining with the law officer dismissed the petition for being not maintainable.
