Wapda installs 220 kV grid station

Wapda has completed 220 kV grid station at Lakhi Marwat (Domail) with an estimated cost of Rs 1,200 million.
According to a statement issued here on Tuesday, the project was completed with the special interest and monitoring of the federal minister for Water and Power, Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao and it would stabilise the voltage and reduce load shedding in the southern district.
District Nazim Lakhi Marwat, Humayun Saifullah Khan has thanked the federal minister and Chief Executive Pesco, Brigadier Tahir Saeed Malik, for their special interest in the development of the area.
