PML-N central joint secretary Khawaja Muhammad Asif, MNA, has vowed to make Pakistan a welfare state according to the dreams of poet of east Allama Mohammad Iqbal and founder of Pakistan Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah whereas the people have been living under a uniformed person for the last five years and it is intolerable for them.
Addressing a public meeting at PML(N) House at Paris Road here on Tuesday, he said Sialkot is a solid fort of PML (N) and nobody can eliminate the party from the hearts of its citizens.
He said that if President Musharraf did not put off uniform in December 2004, the party (PML-N) would start a movement against him on the ARD platform, adding Nawaz Sharif will be the next prime minister of Pakistan.
He said the present regime has badly failed to deliver goods to the people because unemployment and dearness are main issues confronting the nation today.
