Council of Pakistan Newspaper Editors (CPNE) Secretary General Dr Jabbar Khattak on Wednesday announced that the annual general meeting (AGM) 2004 of the CPNE will be held on Tuesday, September 7 in Islamabad.
A CPNE press release said the AGM will discuss annual report of secretary general, performa of finance secretary and give its approval, besides electing 35 members of the standing committee. Newly elected members will also elect new office-bearers of the council at the meeting.
Dr Khattak also directed defaulters to submit their dues at the CPNE Secretariat before August 28, otherwise they would not be able to cast their vote in the annual election.
