Sindh National Front (SNF) Chairman Sardar Mumtaz Ali Bhutto has said the formation of Senate Committee on rights of provinces was acceptance of fact that accesses were being committed against smaller provinces.
In a statement on Wednesday, he said the existence of that committee was first success in the struggle for acquisition of the rights but the final object was too far and there was need to further accelerate the struggle.
On the matter of kidnapping Santosh Kumar, he said people of law enforcement agencies should tell who kidnapped him and where he was. Under such circumstances non-recovery of Santosh Kumar was not only the weakness of police but also Sindh Government.
He further said during last many years all sort of crimes had been committed in Sindh and police remained silent spectator and Sindh Government was helpless.
"In an incident at Dodapur district Jacobabad recently where shortcoming of police, six people were died in a conflict between Mangies and Dasries while Jacobabad police took no action despite the orders of Chief Minister", he added.
Mumtaz Bhutto demanded of Sindh Chief Minister Dr Arbab Rahim to issue an order of enquiry by the judge of High Court in the matter of non-performance of duties by police and remove the accused from services.
