Cottage Engineering Industries Auto Parts Owners Association has assured its full support to 'The Founders' group in the coming elections of Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry (LCCI).
The Association Secretary General Mian Muhammad Umer, in a statement here on Thursday, said this industry was facing severe problems and inching towards the total collapse.
"After having been disappointed from different forums for redress of problems confronted with the industry, we get registered with the LCCI so that its platform could be used for betterment of the industry."
Umer further said: "Despite our several meetings with the office-bearers of the ruling group in the LCCI, our problems remained unresolved.
However, when we approached The Founders leadership, they extended all out co-operation for solution of our problems, especially pertaining to sales tax and income tax."
