Hailing ongoing peace process between Pakistan and India for normalisation of relations, the former Vice President Azad Jammu Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chaudhry Muhammad Saeed has called for early resolution of the Kashmir dispute through composite dialogue.
Talking informally to APP here Thursday, he expressed hope that a breakthrough for settlement of much-delayed Kashmir dispute was indeed expected as a result of the continued process of talks between the two countries besides through involvement of the Kashmiris.
Saeed continued that no trade and otherwise relations between Pakistan and India could have reached to normal unless Kashmir issue was resolved according to the aspirations of the Jammu & Kashmir people.
He, however, expressed hope the process of talks would bear fruit and both the countries would succeed in resolving their all outstanding differences including the issue of Kashmir.
He said that both Pakistan and India should have to resolve the Kashmir problem through result-oriented talks to avert the threat of nuclear conflict between the two countries.
Chaudhry Saeed called for inclusion of Kashmiris in the process of talks for settlement of the Kashmir issue in view of their being the major party to the Kashmir dispute.
Paying tribute to President of Pakistan General Pervez Musharraf and the Prime Minister designate-Shaukat Aziz for their all out sincere efforts for peaceful resolution of the Kashmir issue, the Kashmiri business community stalwart said Pakistan government had always taken the Kashmiri leadership in full confidence before the resumption of talks process with India for resolving the Kashmir and other outstanding subordinate related issues.
He said that America, Britain and other European world were also sincerely willing for settlement of Kashmir problem for the sake of emergence of ever-lasting peace in South Asia.
He said that since whole of the world was involved on the current process for the settlement of Kashmir issue, the world's facilitation was always imperative to achieve the task.
To a question, Chaudhry Saeed observed that only cease fire on Line of Control (LoC), revival of roads and aerial links, trade and cultural ties between India and Pakistan were not the only solution for normalisation of relations between the two arch rivals.
