ISE index scores handsome gains

Equities scored handsome gains at Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE), under the lead of heavyweights, where bulls snatched the floor from the bears amid increase in index on Friday.
ISE network index showed an increase of 64.47 points from 11,855.62 to 11,920.09 points.
The overall turnover amounted to 622,700 shares as compared to previous volume of 10,87,300 shares.
Total 126 companies were quoted on the ready board. Majority of stocks, 75, closed in positive territory, 48 showed negative signs while 3 companies remained pegged to their overnight levels.
The volume of OGDC was 763,100 shares as compared to previous turnover of 633,000 shares. The volume of Fauji Fertiliser was 320,000 shares as compared to previous turnover of 182,000 shares. The turnover of Hub Power Company was 113,500 shares.
