Government inks accord with Wana tribe

Another main section of Ahmadzai Wazir of Wana sub-division, Sheikh Bazid of Zali Khel tribe, has inked an agreement with the government to ensure safety and security of their respective areas by keeping it free form foreign elements and terrorists activities.
Under the agreement, all the relevant sub-tribes have also resolved to hand-over wanted elements to the government, according to a handout issued here on Tuesday.
They have also furnished a guarantee of Rs 10 million, depositing one fourth of the total amount in cash.
The signatories of the agreement also include sub-tribes of Ashraf Khel of Yar Gul Khel tribe, which forms half of the tribe's strength.
