A delegation of Pakistan Muslim League (PML) led by its Secretary General Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed was due to leave for Beijing on Thursday to participate in three-day international conference of Asian political parties starting from September 3.
The conference was being attended by representatives of political parties of Asian countries for more interaction and to strengthen Asian political network.
PML Joint Secretary Imtiaz Ali Ranjha was also member of the delegation.
The three day conference had been organised by the Communist Party of China.
Mushahid Hussain Syed would
address the conference on "Regional Security and Multilateralism.", he was also one of the Standing Committee members of the conference.
Talking to journalists prior to his departure for Beijing, today Mushahid said besides attending the conference, the delegation of PML would have interaction and exclusive meetings with the representatives of Chinese Communist Party as well as leaders of other political parties attending the conference, especially Bath Party of South Korea.
He said, "PML sees this conference as valuable option to strengthen relations between Communist Party of China and PML."
Mushahid said it would also provide a chance to build relations between the political parties of other democratic Asian countries.
He said he would project the perception from Pakistan regarding issues of peace, security and stability in the regions
Representatives of other political parties including Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians and PML-N were also participating in the conference.
