Punjab government has recovered a record income of Rs 3.20 million through open auction of attractive registration marks of vehicles for RLA series at Rawalpindi.
The auction took place at the office of motor registration authority (MRA), Rawalpindi, under the supervision of Chaudhry Muhammad Saleem, Superintendent, Excise & Taxation Department and MRA Malik Tariq Javed.
Officials of Punjab excise & taxation department said here on Thursday that all the 136 attractive registration marks of RLA series were contested and the highest bid of Rs 330,000 was received for RLA-1. RLA-7 fetched Rs 100,000, RLA-57 received Rs 80,000 and RLA-786 was sold at Rs 60,000.
