Chief Minister Haryana (India) Om Prakash Chautala will be visiting Pakistan (Punjab) from September 10 to 13 along with a 50-member delegation comprising his four ministers, parliamentarians, editors, writers and people from other walks of life, said World Punjabi Congress (WPC) Chairman Fakhar Zaman here on Thursday.
Giving details of Chautala's visit at a press conference, Fakhar Zaman stated that Chief Minister Haryana would be received by the Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi and members of the WPC at Wagah Border in the morning on September 10, 2004.
From there, Chautala would go to the home of Fakhar Zaman to condole death of his wife. During his stay, he would attend a seminar at Alhamra Hall as Chief Guest. Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervez Ilahi would host a dinner reception in honour of visiting delegation.
Next day, Indian delegation would visit Sohdhra (Gujranwala), see historical places of Lahore in the noon and attend a dinner reception of WPC. On September 12, he would visit the mausoleum of renowned Punjabi poet, Waris Shah and later attend a reception at Nankana Sahib.
He would attend a cultural programme at Alhamra Hall the same night. Chief Minister, Haryana would also address a press conference on September 13, prior to returning home.
