All in a day's work! - Merry-go-round!

So the month of August has again made history!
Published September 4, 2004

So the month of August has again made history!
R u referring to the 57th anniversary of independence?
No
U must b referring to the by-elections.
No
Ok! Got it!
U r referring to the historic victory of the PML candidate in a borrowed constituency?
No
Must b referring to the transformation of 'wait-in' to the 'sworn-in'?
No!
What else r u hinting at?
Am referring to what has never happened during the last 57 years.
R u referring to first technocrat prime minister?
No!
By the way we had one as 'care-taker'.
My dear, I was referring to this one which is an elected prime minister.
No matter his election were held after selection.
I think u r getting far off.
Meaning?
We were talking about what has never happened in this country during the last 57 years of independence.
Ok!
U must be referring to the most educated person elected as prime minister from the most illiterate and poorest constituency of this country.
No,
U have a point but I did not have this thing in mind.
Please talk simple!
Ok!
Have u seen the historic picture published in all leading newspapers on 27th August.
Not again please, am in no mood to play merry go round............!
Ok!
The Shujaaat is really a man of shujaat, resigned on 25th August.
True!
After remaining in office for 57 days!
He said he "has returned the trust reposed in him by the nation."
By the nation?
I think u wanted to say army generals.
Come on!
Don't be sarcastic!
Look, I was referring to the historic picture, which has three prime ministers hand in hand.
The one who gave way to the two successors in the middle.
Ya, with a dictator's son beaming in the background.
And a defector once info-man smiling from left to right.
The picture must be preserved and be a milestone for future prime ministers.
Meaning?
My dear, during the last 57 years, we have seen prime ministers being dismissed, arrested, humiliated, assassinated and even hanged.
True!
This picture depicts the peaceful transfer of power which we all should b grateful.
True!
Let's pray that the merry go round for the premiership ends here.
True!
We can only hope that with three two and a half year gone out of the tenure of this government, the remaining period will be utilised to provide some relief to the poor people of the country.
True!
We may see the results this time as the man in charge is highly qualified and one of the richest people of the country..................
Returning the confidence and trust reposed by the most illiterate and poorest people of both the constituencies.
The poor people can't afford any other merry-go-round for the top slot!
