Union of Small and Medium Enterprises (Unisame) has congratulated Jehangir Tareen on his appointment as federal minister for Industries and Production and Special Initiatives.
In a statement here on Friday, president Unisame Zulfikar Thaver hoped that the new minister will strengthen Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (Smeda) to meet the challenges.
He urged the minister to ensure the presence of Smeda in every district and equip the authority with men, money and materials for properly catering to the needs of SME sector.
