The Karachi Port handled 31,423 tonnes of cargo including 18,900 tonnes import and 12,523 tonnes export cargo during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Saturday.
The cargo comprised of 27,491 tonnes dry and 3,932 tonnes liquid cargo.
Three ships namely Kota Tegap, Mandalay and Orient Stride sailed out to sea during the report period.
Two vessels viz Wan Hai-267 and Nur Yanbu are currently at the berths.
Three ships namely Indradi, Oriental Bright and Wan Hai-267 expected to sail on Saturday, while another ship Kota Indah is expected to sail on Sunday.
Three ships namely Challange Express, Tolteca and African Sanderling due to arrive on Sunday, while three vessels viz Wilmington, Lake Maya and Corinthaikos are due to arrive on Monday.
A total cargo volume of 79,010 tonnes including 72,176 tonnes import and 6,834 tonnes export cargo was handled during last 24 hours ending at 0800 hours on Saturday.
The cargo comprised of 4,824 tonnes edible oil; 31,170 tonnes furnace oil; 29,875 tonnes coal and 13,141 tonnes containerised cargo.
Two vessels viz CMA CGM Vernet and Hermia sailed out to sea during last 24 hours.
A total of two vessels viz MSC California and Al Mounir are currently at the outer anchorage.
Two ships namely MSC California and Al Mounir due to take berths on Saturday.
