NRB holds 100 consultative meetings in two years

Chairman, National Reconstruction Bureau (NRB), Daniyal Aziz on Sunday said that during the last two years about 100 consultative meetings have been convened aimed at streamlining and smooth functioning of the Local Government system
In these meetings, consensus has been achieved on different political and administrative issues. "All hitches have been removed " he told a local TV.
Accordingly, an Implementation Fund and a National Implementation Body have been formed.
Promulgation of these was in the offing in a few days, NRB Chairman said.
Benefits of the Local Government (LG) system would be visible as transferring of power at grassroots level was being ensured. Masses were being made master of their destiny by involving them in the system, he added.
