Holding the gun properly

Many of us have seen that our policemen and other law-enforcement agency personnel, while sitting in a mobile van, often hold their AK-47 gun irresponsibly. They keep the weapon on their thighs while sitting on the rear seats of the van with their gun pointing outside the van.
A person with an average height or a man on a motorcycle can get shot if the gun fires by mistake.
We often read in the newspapers about people getting killed accidentally while cleaning their guns.
These security personnel must be trained to hold their guns properly (preferably) pointing towards the sky.
