The Commecs Educational Trust has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Pakistan Memon Educational and Welfare Society for the academic management of Sir Adamjee Institute located in Federal 'B' Area here.
This was announced by Omar H. Karim, the Vice-Chairman of the Commecs, while addressing a news conference at the Karachi Press Club on Monday.
He said that the institute spreading over an area of two and a half acres and equipped with modern teaching facilities would start functioning from the coming academic year.
It was pointed out that the institute would offer 100 admissions to the first year in the faculty of commerce.
Commander Najeeb Anjum (Retd) who is also associated with the project said that from next year, admissions would also be offered in first year pre-medical and pre-engineering classes.
He was also optimistic that in the years ahead the institute would excel in the realms of education.
