The representatives of working class paid homage to the martyrs of 1965 by visiting the memorials of war at Batapur and Burki.
According to a press release, a delegation of Pakistan Workers Confederation (PWC) visited the memorials and laid floral wreath.
At this occasion, Khurshid Ahmed, Secretary General of the confederation said that the whole nation owed a great debt to the martyrs of 1965 war who laid down their lives for the motherland.
He said the working class would continue its struggle to purge poverty, unemployment and injustice from the society.
