LCCI President Mian Anjum Nisar, Senior Vice President Mian Misbah-ur-Rehman and Vice President Shahzad Ali Malik have expressed their profound grief over the sad demise of renowned scholar and author Ashfaq Ahmad.
In a condolence message, the LCCI office-bearers recounted the services rendered by the late Ashfaq Ahmad to Pakistan and to literature. They said that such people are national assets and the people benefit from their writings and experiences.
They said that the literary world had indeed lost one of its distinguished personalities. Ashfaq Ahmed, who had authored some 20 books, was a great social reformer of his age and torch-bearer, who highlighted the social issues through his writings.
