Participants at a function arranged by the Piaf-Founders Alliance to introduce its candidates for the Associate and Chamber class executive committee seats elections 2004-05 of the LCCI, assured their full support to alliance.
The function was presided over by the Alliance Chairman, Mian Muhammad Ashraf while those present on this occasion included former FPCCI President Iftikhar Ali Malik, sitting LCCI Chief, Mian Anjum Nisar, Senior Vice-President Mian Misbah-ur-Rehman, Vice-President Shahzad Ali Malik, executive committee members and Piaf leaders.
According to a spokesman of the alliance, the function was mainly arranged for the voters of Associate class, which was addressed by the leaders of different markets and industrial areas besides Alliance leaders.
They announced their support to Aftab Ahmad Vohra, Sheikh Muhammad Arshad, Faisal Iqbal and Ali Asghar Malik (Associate class candidates) and Mian Shafqat Ali, Kashif Younis, Majid Abdullah and Sheikh Muhammad Younis (candidates for Chamber class).
Piaf-Founders Alliance chairman Mian Muhammad Ashraf, Piaf Chairman Muhammad Ali Mian and Founders Group Chairman Mian Tajammul Hussein expressed their pleasure over unity exhibited by the business community in shape of this alliance.
They said that the alliance was constituted in line with aspirations of business community. They observed that the LCCI leadership, led by Mian Anjum Nisar, struggled hard to get resolved the long-standing problems of the traders community.
