The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Wednesday issued a notice to the concerned Wapda authorities for reply on a petition of a candidate seeking appointment on merit.
The petition filed by Kamran Ahmad submitted that the Chief Executives Gapco, Gugranwala, gave an advertisement in a newspaper for 10 posts of Junior Engineers (Power).
He submitted that he had applied for the post and he qualified the written test and interview but the respondents did not mention his name in the list of successful candidates.
He prayed the court to direct the respondents to appoint him on merit and meanwhile grant stay to the petitioner.
