Sindh Minister for Planning and Development Syed Shoaib Ahmed Bokhari switched on a KESC PMT in Orangi Town Sector 13-G thus meeting a long-standing demand of the area residents for assured and guaranteed voltage supply of power by the KESC.
Present on the occasion were also KESC Chief Engineer distribution III Anis Ahmed Qureshi and Deputy Chief Engineer Syed Abid Hussain.
The Provincial Minister Shoaib Bokhari speaking on the occasion said complaints of irregular and interrupted power supply from this sector of Orangi Town had been numerous in the past.
He further said his office contacted the KESC in that matter and sought the removal of public complaints.
Finally the installation of a PMT, costing Rs one million was approved and he was happy to switch it on thus ensuring regular and efficient power supply in the area.
Shoaib Bokhari said with the commissioning of this PMT, the problem of voltage changes and power cut off would be solved to the satisfaction of the residents. A large number of people on the occasion thanked the minister Shoaib Bokhari and the KESC for installation of the PMT.
