Lahore High Court (LHC) upheld objection raised by the LHC office in a petition filed by a member of the Lahore High Court Bar Association (LHCBA) praying to the court to direct the respondent government to take necessary steps to restrain the public from disregarding the national flag.
The LHC office had raised objection that the petition was not maintainable as the petitioner had not taken any legal stance for maintenance of his petition.
The petitioner M D Tahir had requested the LHC office to fix his petition before any bench of the august court as objection case so as to enable him to present his plea before the court.
