Workshop on floriculture on September 14

Kees Van Den Plas, director, Stoop Flowerbulbs, the world largest breeder of gladiolus in Netherlands, will deliver a lecture on cultivation of flowers out of bulbs like gladiolus, lily and tulip at a workshop to be held at local hotel on Sept 14.
Punjab Agriculture Marketing Minister Rana Muhammad Qasim Khan Noon will chair the workshop, organised by the Pakistan Horticulture Development and Export Board (PHDEB).
The event is a part of the awareness campaign launched by the PHDEB to develop the floriculture sector in the country at par with international standards.
