Ten members of an outlawed extremist outfit were arrested on Sunday for murder of a former university teacher here which triggered strong protests, police said on Sunday.
The suspects were named by the relatives of Atiqul Hassan who was murdered here on Friday.
"Police conducted raids in different parts of the province and detained 10 workers of the banned Lashkar-e-Jhangvi," Police Chief Rahmatullah Niazi said.
