The members of Pakistan Association of Pathologists will visit different cities of the country in connection with the forthcoming 28th annual conference of pathologists scheduled to be held at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) in December.
According to a statement issued here on Sunday, pathologists of PIMS will visit Abbottabad, Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan, Quetta, Karachi, Hyderabad and many other cities.
A delegation of PIMS pathologists comprised of Professor Anwar-ul-Haque, Professor Khalid Hasan, Professor Noor Khan, Dr Ashok Kumar, Dr Haroon Khan and Dr Hasan Abbas Zaheer had already visited Khyber Medical College, Peshawar in this connection.
The Organising Committee Chairman Professor Anwar and Secretary Dr Haroon made a detailed presentation about the preparations of the conference, which was attended by a large number of pathologists from various medical colleges and hospitals of Peshawar.
Professor Fazal Ahmed of Khyber Medical College and Professor Fazle Raziq from Post-Graduate Medical Institute also addressed the meeting and expressed gratitude to the visiting delegation for briefing them on the threshold preparations of the conference.
They assured the organising committee about their wholehearted support to make the conference a success. Many pathologists attending the meeting registered themselves for the conference.
Promotional material for the conference was also distributed among the participants on this occasion. It is anticipated, on the basis of enthusiastic response of the participants, that a large number of pathologists from Peshawar will attend the conference.
