Activity at Karachi and Qasim ports

The Karachi Port handled 59,811 tonnes of cargo including 47,832 tonnes import and 11,979 tonnes export cargo during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Tuesday. The cargo comprised of 39,354 tonnes dry and 20,457 tonnes liquid cargo.
Six ships namely Bunga Bidara, Hugo Oldendroff, swat, Sibi, Warbah and Golden Top sailed out to sea during the report period.
Three vessels viz Min He, Aboudi and Golden Sun are currently at the berths.
Four ships namely Orient Stride, Min He, Aboudi and Lamphun Navee expected to sail on Tuesday, while two ships namely MMM Galveston and APL Ivory are expected to sail on Wednesday.
Four ships namely Shina, MT Johar, APL Ivory and Eax Sanctity due to arrive on Tuesday, while six vessels viz Stolt Orchid, YM Star, Hyundai Future, Kota Wangsa, Clipper and Californian Highway are due to arrive on Wednesday.

PORT QASIMA total cargo volume of 56,766 tonnes including 33,221 tonnes only import and 23,545 tonnes export cargo was handled during last 24 hours ending at 0800 hours on Tuesday.
The cargo comprised of 7,177 tonnes edible oil and 49,589 tonnes containerised cargo.
Three vessels viz OOCL Ability, Nord Strand and MSC Eliana sailed out to sea during last 24 hours.
MV Keefan is currently at the outer anchorage and due to take berth on Tuesday.
