A member of the Lahore High Court Bar Association (LHCBA) has approached the Lahore High Court (LHC) with prayer to direct the respondent government to formulate a law for restraining the marriages of young couples without will of their parents.
Petitioner M.D. Tahir contended that young couples first developed illicit relations and then arrange court marriages. He prayed for making a legislation to restrain such couples from this practice.
