Members of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry (LCCI) have condemned lodging of a complaint by Javed Hussain Dar against LCCI Secretary Wing Commander (R) Muhammad Younis.
According to a press release issued here on Saturday, the LCCI Chief Mian Anjum Nisar and Senior Vice-President Mian Misbah-ur-Rehman specially attended the meeting.
Speaking on this occasion, Dr Muhammad Yousaf Bhatti, Muhammad Rafiq Asi, Moeenuddin Siddiqui, Shahid Khalil and others apprised Anjum Nisar and Mian Misbah-ur-Rehman about their apprehensions and said such an act against the chief executive of a premier organisation was condemnable. They demanded whole of the Chamber staff should be provided security without any discrimination, the release said.
According to the press release, Anjum Nisar and Mian Misbah-ur-Rehman also condemned the incident and dubbed it as an attack on him and not on staff. He said the business community would hold accountable to such people on September 21 and 22.-PR
