The Quaid-i-Azam University has announced a reasonable amount of honorarium for the faculty members for their research papers published in national and international journals.
An amount of Rs 5,000 would be awarded to the teachers for a research paper published in National journal and Rs 10,000 for a publication in international journal.
Quaid-i-Azam University encourages research activities in its all degree level students. M.Phil dissertation is considered to be a major focus for students in addition to detailed research works carried out in Ph.D. studies.
Academic staff of the university appreciated the decision of honorarium and acknowledged the services being rendered by the academic staff association.
The association is headed by Dr Dushka H. Saiyid.
According to the teachers this proposal would help enhance research activities in the university.
