People coming for medical treatment in the Cantonment General Hospital (CGH) Rawalpindi are facing immense problems due to negligence of hospital administration while the mismanagement and callous attitude of hospital staff has added numerous problems for poor patients.
It was learnt that patients have to wait for hours for getting ordinary treatment.
However medicines worth million of rupees have already been allocated for Cantonment Hospital but the authorities concerned have turned a blind eye over the issue in this regard.
The said practice of extreme negligence and mismanagement is prevalent from quite a long time and no practical steps have been taken to keep away from such actions.
Patients have also revealed that doctors always give them prescription for taking medicines from the market whereas a medical store is present in the hospital.
Public circles showing concern over this negligent attitude of hospital administration have urged RCB to leave this lethargic attitude and provide them easy access for cheaper medicines.
