S.M.Munir, former president of Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) and leader of the Businessmen Alliance (BMA), has urged Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz to use his good office and urge the authorities to delay implementation of WTO rules and regulations at least by two years.
Addressing a KCCI election campaign meeting, he said that this would give enough time to the businessmen of Pakistan to prepare themselves to meet the WTO challenges and requirements.
He urged the business community to participate in KCCI elections and use their right and choose candidates of their choice.
He hoped that this year voters' turnover would be much more as compared to the previous years. He also hoped that the candidates of BMA would succeed in the forthcoming elections.
