As many as 13 people were injured, some of them severely, in a gas explosion at Zeeshan Restaurant near Liaquat Bagh Moti Mehal Plaza here in the jurisdiction of Waris Khan police station.
According to the details, the explosion occurred due to leakage in gas pipe. District Nazim and other higher officials of the District Administration, rushed to the spot when they were informed about the explosion.
Injured were shifted to the Districts Headquarters Hospital and two of them were relieved after first aid. Taj Mahmmod, Wakeel Ahmad, Safeer, Alyas, Bilal, Muhammad Shabir, Zahoor s/o Daar, Zafar Iqbal and Naveed were included in the injured.
